Creative Audio Archive at Experimental Sound Studio - Guided Tour and Mini-digitization Workshop

The Creative Audio Archive is a Chicago-based center for the preservation and investigation of innovative and experimental sonic arts and music. Take a guided tour of the archives and sound studio. Visitors will have an opportunity to listen to select materials from the collections and take part in a mini-digitization workshop.

1st Tour: 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

2nd Tour: 12:30 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.

3rd Tour: 1:30 p.m. - 2:15 p.m.

Maximum capacity: 15 visitors per tour

No registration necessary

The Creative Audio Archive is a Chicago-based center for the preservation and investigation of innovative and experimental sonic arts and music. Creative Audio Archive is an initiative of the Experimental Sound Studio, formed in response to growing concerns over the general state of historical preservation of non-mainstream audio.
