Join CAA members and other invested archival advocates while we use these two hours to contact our government leaders and protest the NARA Chicago (and San Bruno) regional office closures!
We'll send out a collective Padlet board that will be open from 10am-12pm so registered attendants can write updates and messages to each other as call our respective government officials. These closures affect everyone, but the NARA Chicago closure affects accessibility of federal records in the Great Lakes states (Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota), and we encourage registrants from any of those areas to join us. We can help you find your representatives if you don't know who they are during the event, but if you'd like to be extra prepared, please attend our phone bank training on Monday, August 4 at 6pm Central.
