Phone Bank Training with CAA

Come learn how to more effectively call your representatives and government officials! CAA member Elizabeth Buchanan will guide attendees through best practices for calling government offices. You'll learn tip for when to call, what information to note and to share, and get an opportunity to practice your statements.

CAA is offering this training to support a group phone banking event on Wednesday, August 12 from 10am to 12pm, where we will collectively protest the proposed closures of the the NARA Chicago and San Bruno regional offices. We hope you're able to join us for that event, but please put your polished skills to the test early and often.

This training is open to anyone, but the NARA Chicago closure affects accessibility of federal records in the Great Lakes states (Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota), and we encourage registrants from any of those areas to join us.
