On Monday, March 30 the Chicago Area Archivists hosted “Records and Information Management – Making It Work for You!” at University of Illinois-Chicago’s Daley Library.  The 31 attendees were introduced to the concepts of records management, explored the relationship between archives and records management activities, and were given practical guidance for implementing a records and information management program at their own institutions. Presenter Joanne Kaczmarek, Archivist for Electronic Records and Director of Records and Information Management Services at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, taught this workshop as part of the MAC Speakers Bureau pilot project.

Thanks to all who attended.  If you missed this one, there will be other opportunities to join your colleagues for Professional Development programs throughout 2015 - including one scheduled for later this spring.  Watch for updates via the CAA listserv or on our website at http://chicagoarchivists.org/events.
