DePaul University Special Collections and Archives, in collaboration with Chicago Area Archivists, invites you to an open house! Like many of you, our operations and positions have evolved over the past few years. It is our hope that an open house showcases some of our newer projects and spaces, but most importantly leads to conversation, collaboration, and community!
The event will be in the John T. Richardson Library, 2350 N. Kenmore Avenue - DePaul's Lincoln Park Campus. Special Collections and Archives is located on the third floor of the library (JTR 314).
Attendees will take a guided stacks tour, interact with a mock instruction session in our classroom space, and view a pop-up exhibit in our new seminar room.
The event is scheduled until 5:30 pm. For those who would like to stay and socialize, there are a variety of options for a casual get together close to campus - exact location to be determined and will be added to this event description.
Please note that initial registration for this event is open to active CAA members and any Chicago-area MLIS students. If you are a student who is not a CAA member, please choose the student ticket and enter your institution. If you're a non-student CAA member, please write "NA" in the institution field.
