Grant Park Music Festival

CAA invites you to join your fellow archivists, librarians, and records managers for the Grant Park Music Festival at Millennium Park on Wednesday, July 20 for Philip Glass: A Journey Through Time.

"Marin Alsop conducts a multimedia piece featuring music by Philip Glass with projected images by famed National Geographic photographer Frans Lanting. Golijov’s '21st-century Baroque adagio' Azul opens the program."

WHEN:

Wednesday, July 20, 5:00pm

WHERE:

Millennium Park, Chicago, IL

In order to reserve space for a large group of people, committee members will arrive at Grant Park no later than 5:00pm to set up an area for attendees. The area will be reserved with our CAA sign so that you can find the group. Please try to arrive early to ensure that you have a place to sit.

Additionally, the Grant Park Music Festival allows outside drinks and snacks, so bring whatever food or beverages you'd like to enjoy during the performance. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase.

Registration is requested. If you have any questions, please contact info@chicagoarchivists.org. We look forward to seeing you there!

The CAA Events Subcommittee uses RSVPs to measure attendance, and, in the event of low response, might postpone or cancel an event. As a result, please RSVP only if you are certain you can attend. If you RSVP but are unable to attend, please provide at least 24 hours notice.

Can’t make it to this event? Don’t worry – there will be more events throughout the year at a variety of dates, times, and locations.
