American Medical Association - Exhibit and Behind the Scenes Tour

Tour the historical exhibits of the AMA space, and get a behind-the-scenes tour of the AMA Archives. See the original Code of Medical Ethics, the first national code of its kind and explore the bizarre quacks and frauds of the early 20th century.

1st Tour: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.

2nd Tour: 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Maximum capacity: 15 visitors per tour

Advanced registration is required.  

Upon arrival, please check in with the AMA security desk in the lobby.

The AMA Archives, memory of the American Medical Association, is composed of over fifty collections that document its rich history. It is a dynamic resource for AMA Members. Among the highlights of the collection are the popular Historical Health Fraud and Alternative Medicine Collection, photographs, memorabilia and other artifacts.
