Hands-on Disaster Response Exercise

As a follow-up to the CACG-sponsored workshop, Preparing for the Unexpected: Disaster Planning for Cultural Collections, the Chicago Area Conservation Group is presenting a hands-on exercise in disaster recovery. The mock water disaster will offer the opportunity for participants to learn how to salvage and recover a variety of collections.

COST: There is a nominal fee ($35) for participation and lunch.

There are a limited number of spaces available. We would like to have representation from as many different institutions as possible. Our goal is that participants will return to their cultural institutions to train their colleagues.
