Chicago Open Archives event: Harsh archivists will offer a behind-the-scenes tour of the archives, including a tour of the current exhibit "111 Years of the Chicago Defender."

Each tour will last approximately 45 minutes. Registration is not necessary, but is encouraged. This event is free of charge.

The largest African American history and literature collection in the Midwest, the Vivian G. Harsh Research Collection of Afro-American History and Literature documents the black experience with a strong focus on Chicago.
